Lovely banana pudding, not overwhelming sweet and freshly made. Also love that they have their own parking
I ordered turkey wings and it was just one. I would have paid more for 2. The service was very fast and the cashier was friendly. My food was decent. Not very memorable. If I went back I would try another entree.
Wow real soul food! The food was amazing, I had the oxtails over yellow rice with the mac & cheese and the green beans. My girl friend had the beef stew over yellow rice, Mac and cheese and yams. My son had 20 wings and fries. Also tried red velvet cake, banana pudding and peach cobbler. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were right for the price. Although if you're going, it's more of a grab they do have two tables inside, but most of the tables are outside. If your in Daytona, and you want some of the best soul food of your life definitely do not miss kinfolks. Hands down the best soul food I have had in a long time, I probably would take the one and a half hour drive to Daytona just for it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the food and the people!!! The seasoning was on point. The fish was fried to perfection. The cabbage and black eye peas ... delicious!!! The mac & cheese is also very tasty. Good soul food totally satisfies.
Great place, warm atmosphere, and just a really great place. The food is really warm and seasoned really well. They are putting the soul in soul food. Everything so good makes you want to write home to mama. Please if you are in Daytona go to this restaurant is worth the drive and stop in.
